Choosing and requesting a hotel

Compare room arrangements and supplier conditions before requesting a stay.

Define the stay accurately

Choose the city, check-in and checkout dates, rooms, adults and children. Checkout is the departure date, not an additional overnight stay. Children’s ages and room occupancy can affect whether a room is suitable and how it is priced. Describe any practical accessibility requirements before requesting confirmation.

Compare like for like

Check the named property, room category, bed configuration, meal plan and permitted occupancy. Location claims should identify the relevant route or entrance; a straight-line distance is different from a walking route. Photographs may show a representative room unless your quotation specifies otherwise. Ask which facilities are confirmed for your selected category.

Understand rates and availability

Published options are a starting point. Supplier confirmation is required unless the specific booking explicitly provides confirmed availability. Review the nightly rate, nights, rooms, taxes and total together. Where a SAR reference is converted to an INR payment amount, check the applied conversion and final INR total before transferring money.

Read the conditions

Obtain cancellation, date-change, no-show, deposit and check-in conditions before payment. Ask about arrival time, late arrival arrangements and any required identification. A payment screenshot is evidence for review; it does not establish that a room has been reserved.

Keep the current voucher

Once confirmed, check the hotel name, guest names, stay dates and occupancy on the current voucher. Use your account to request amendments or raise an issue. For an arrival-day problem, also use the contact supplied with the booking confirmation.
